Weighted Sales Team
Weighted Sales Teams are special type of Round Robin Sales Team. The key difference being
- Leads are assigned in proportion to the assigned weightage.
- Leads are assigned using random number allocation to the active sales rep in the weighted sales team.
As in Round Robin Sales team, you can define any number of Weighted Sales Team. Each team can be used as may times in router.
To add a weighted sales team,
1. Right click on the “Weighted Sales Team” left menu and click “Add New”.
2. Drag the “Add Sales Rep” box from the right attribute panel.
3. Add as many sales rep needed. One entry per sales rep is permitted
4. Enter the weightage between 1 and 999 for the sales rep. Weightage don’t necessarily need to add up to 100.
During assignment, the weightage is calculate relative to other sales rep’s weightage. Example, the weightage of 10, 20 and 30 is same as weightage or 100, 200 and 300. It is also same as 20, 40 and 60.
As best practice, we recommend that you start with higher range (such as 10, 20 or 100, 200 etc) so that plenty of room is available should you need to assign intermediate ranges.
