Job Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in GCP, VM management, server handling, containerized applications, and deployment processes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure, managing application deployments, monitoring systems, and ensuring the smooth functioning of development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GCP infrastructure and services.
• Handle and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs) and troubleshoot VM-related issues.
• Manage file servers, server storage, file access, and related infrastructure.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications running in multiple pods/containers.
• Monitor pod health, resource utilization, logs, and application performance.
• Troubleshoot pod, container, server, and deployment-related issues.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Manage application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Work with developers to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
• Manage source code repositories using Git.
• Work with Docker and containerized applications.
• Configure and maintain web/application servers such as Nginx/Apache.
• Monitor system health, server performance, application logs, and resource utilization.
• Perform regular server maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Handle production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of server configurations, deployments, and infrastructure processes.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Hands-on experience in VM handling and server management.
• Experience with file server handling and storage management.
• Good understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience managing multiple pods/containers and troubleshooting pod-related issues.
• Good knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Cloud Monitoring.
• Understanding of GCP IAM, permissions, and security practices.
• Experience handling production environments and application releases.

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination with development and QA teams.
• Ability to handle production issues responsibly.
• Willingness to learn and work with new DevOps technologies.
